- Provides vision and leadership to AAR while prioritizing a dynamic workplace culture that engages staff and drives high performance
Finance and Facilities
- Manages AAR's budgetary, financial, forecasting, and accounting activities
- Maintains high quality office spaces for staff, ensuring safety and productivity
Talent Management
- Supports our best-in-class advancement organization through organizational planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and learning and development
Advancement Information Services
- Manages the biographic, gift, pledge, and payment information for our database and leads systems, technology, business practices, and the delivery of information for AAR
Prospect Analytics and Reporting
- Empowers AAR to make data-driven decisions and contributes to prospecting initiatives through predictive analytics, ranking systems, and creative reporting solutions
Prospect Management and Research
- Connects our development professionals with actionable information and manages prospect research, prospect management, and presidential briefings
Strategic Initiatives
- Leverages data and analytics for innovative, cross-team projects that drive change and further organizational effectiveness
- Partners with the Caltech Alumni Association and colleagues in AAR and across the Institute to grow and sustain relationships with 25,000+ Techers worldwide
Academic Divisions and Regions
- Builds relationships and solicits major and principal gifts, primarily focused on individual giving
- Raises funds to support all academic and administrative priorities
Caltech Fund
- Raises annual support from alumni, students, parents, and friends to enhance the undergraduate and graduate student experience
Foundation Relations
- Facilitates engagement between private foundations and Caltech, fostering partnerships and securing resources
Office of Gift Planning
- Facilitates bequests and life income gifts that provide long-term support for the Institute as well as other complex or non-traditional gifts
Advancement Communications
- Provides leadership in developing comprehensive communications spanning multiple channels to inspire diverse audiences to engage with, give to, and advocate for the Institute
Caltech Associates
- Hosts engaging local events and worldwide travel opportunities that bring its members together with Institute faculty while supporting pioneering research
Events
- Produces highly curated events and programs that sustain and reinforce relationships with the Institute's key constituencies
Stewardship
- Creates high-quality experiences for those who give financially to Caltech, with the goal of promoting long-term engagement and continued investment
