Development Events

The Development Events staff produces a variety of events that recognize the involvement of Caltech donors and fundraising prospects.

Development Research

The Development Research staff provides strategic information on current and potential individual, corporate and foundation donors to development officers and Institute administrators.

Donor Relations and Marketing

Donor Relations and Marketing staff coordinate donor recognition, fund reporting and gift acknowledgements, as well as support fundraising activities through electronic and print communications and marketing materials.

Development Records

Development Records primary functions include: processing of charitable contributions and pledges to the Institute; managing and maintaining information on alumni, donors and friends; training Development staff in use of the fundraising database; and coordinating the appropriate distribution of donations with Institute Finance.

Information Services

Information Services for Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for all computer support issues within DAR. Information Services supports the Alumni, Donor & Prospect Information database system, including writing reports, database maintenance, system setup and updates. Information Services also supports the workstations, printers and server environment used by DAR staff.
